Fort Myers Bass Fishing Season
The calendar below gives you the times of the year the Fort Myers Bass fishing is best for each species. Peacock Bass are tropical fish and get very lethargic when the water temp drops below 80 degrees. However if we are in the middle of a winter warm spell with days over 80 and nights in the upper 60’s they can turn on immediately. All it takes is a rise in water temps of a degree or two and they will go on a feeding binge. So keep an eye on the weather forecast for the time you will be visiting, and you just might hit the perfect warm snap and be able to get in a Peacock trip. Call us if it looks like that might be happening.
