As a general rule starting sometime in early April the Tarpon will be moving out of their wintering areas and begin to feed heavily. This is the very best time of the day to fly fish and that first 1/2 hour of the day is always big Tarpon time. The great part of an early morning Tarpon fishing charter is that you have the rest of the day to enjoy the Fort Myers area where there is lots to see and do. September and October can be some of the best fishing of the year and the fishing pressure is far less than the spring and summer.
