Largemouth Bass Fishing Is Great.
With the afternoon rains finally cooling of the lakes in the Fort Myers area the Largemouth Bass fishing has really picked up. Our bass charter clients this morning had a great time fishing from our NuCanoe kayak. They never dreamed that a kayak could be so comfortable and stable. The usual crowd of 14″ bass were on a tear at first light and they can make it hard to catch the larger bass. Everything seemed to be working, top water, spinner baits, cranks, and various plastics. The top lure for numbers was a black wacky rig Senko on 10lb mono. The big bass of the trip was a nice 5lb plus fish that ate a Senko of course There is that magical twitch of a sinking wacky Senko that they just can’t seem to pass up.
